I am a self taught freelance artist. I have always loved artwork & spent days as a child & adolescent coloring &
drawing. But like many of us, my life took a path in another direction & I headed for college at Cornell University
and continued on to obtain a MSW & MPH at Boston University. After that I practiced as a clinical social worker
and counseled children of all ages to help them overcome many great obstacles in their young lives. My passion for
children led me have three of my very own. My own children inspired me to get back to my childhood dreams and
bring art back into my life again. After my second child was born I jumped back into the world of art and haven’t
looked back since.
Now, I am bringing together several of my greatest passions in life: children, art, and helping others. Each child is
born with a dream that they want to live out & accomplish in life. I love to hear their dreams & help them visualize
those dreams through the form of artwork. We are all born with a passion for life but often we need a little help
along the way to realize & recognize what those passions are in our lives. Artwork is one of many ways to help
guide us down the right path in life. Artwork can inspire us to seek out that dream and live life to its fullest. Some
of us have a clear vision of what our dream is from the day we are born, some of us have some ideas but wonder
if those are correct, and some of us have many obstacles in our way of achieving our dreams. Regardless of our
situation we are all the same, in that we all have a dream. Why not ask your child today, “What is your dream?”
and don’t forget to ask your own inner child the same question because just like your young one, you have a
dream as well that is waiting to be achieved. No matter what our age we all have an inner child just waiting to get
out.
So what is your dream?
